Fill in before publishing: the effective date — the only placeholder left. This draft was written against what the app’s code actually does; have a lawyer check it against the law where you operate before you publish it.

1. What this app is, and who holds your data

GTM is a workplace tool for field and sales teams. You have it on your phone because your employer gave it to you for work, and your account was created by your employer — not by you.

That matters, because the rest of this policy rests on it:

So questions like “how long is this kept?” or “who can see it?” are answered by your employer’s own policy. What we set out here is what the app collects and when.

2. What is collected

Location

The most important part of this policy. The app sends your location, but only within one defined window:

Each point carries:

ItemWhat it is
Latitude and longitudewhere you were at that moment
Accuracy (metres)the estimated error of that fix
Speed and headingwhen the operating system reports them
Battery percentageso a supervisor knows whether the phone is about to die
Timestampwhen the fix was taken

Attendance and visits

Forms and work reports

Forms you fill in go to your organisation’s server. Depending on how a form was designed, they may contain text and numbers, dates, chosen options, photos, voice recordings, a handwritten signature, file attachments, and a location you pick yourself on a map.

Other work data

3. What stays on the phone only

These never leave the device:

DataWhere
Your sign-in tokenthe operating system’s encrypted store (Keystore / Keychain)
The list of servers and the active onelocal app storage
Your chosen languagelocal app storage
Your organisation’s name and logolocal app storage
Your acceptance of the location disclosurelocal app storage
Drafts of half-finished formslocal app storage

Signing out erases the token and also forgets the location-disclosure acceptance, so that on a shared phone the next person reads it themselves.

4. Who receives your data

This app contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising software. No Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Crashlytics, no Sentry, no ad network. Your data is not used for advertising and is not sold or passed to any data broker.

Beyond your organisation’s server, the app contacts only two destinations:

5. The permissions the app asks for, and why

PermissionWhat for
Location (precise and approximate)recording the work route and check-in/out places
Background locationcontinuing the route while the app is not open — only during the shift
Foreground servicekeeping the persistent notification up while location is being sent
Cameraattendance selfies, photos in forms and reports, scanning the server QR code
Microphonevoice notes in forms and chat — only when you press record
Notificationsthe tracking notification and work alerts
Filesattaching files and saving ones you receive

You can withdraw any permission in your phone’s settings. Withdrawing location stops route recording; the rest of the app keeps working.

6. Security

7. Retention and deletion

How long data is kept is your organisation’s decision, because the data is on its server. To see, correct or delete your data, contact your administrator or HR department; they also create and close accounts. If you get no answer, you may write to the address under “Contact us” and we will pass the request to the organisation concerned.

8. Children

This is a workplace tool. It is not designed for or offered to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If this text changes, the date at the top is updated and the new version is published at this same address. A change that widens what is collected is announced in the app before it takes effect.
